Tightrope Theatre is a great short game to play when you find yourself with an hour to spare, although the only downside is there is almost no replay ability. My favourite aspect of this game was charming soundtrack, granted it could get repetitive after dying 30 times on the same level but none the less it was enjoyable to listen to. I hit a brick wall on level 13, after trying for an hour and coming back to It the next day I finally overcame it. All I can say is a am glad this game doesn’t keep a kill counter, the game gets harder with progression so if you don’t get a good grip of the controls you are going to have a bad time. You play as Rada, a programmer, who enters VR and fights the virus. I wouldn’t recommend playing this game in a public area, I had to restrain myself many times from swearing and deep sighing. A computer virus is raging havoc in virtual reality and is causing trouble in the real world too. The unicycle controls are purposely made as difficult as possible for you to control and I admit I am not good at playing rage games. It has a simple concept, you are a jester riding a unicycle through levels full of traps such as spikes and fire to ultimately reach your target. This game has lots of charm and clean artwork despite the short time frame it was made in. ![]() To give you a little bit of information about the game, it consists of 24 levels and was created in just 48 hours, however don’t let this put you off. I am constantly checking the website Game Jolt for recently added indie games I can play for my reviews and I wasn’t disappointed when I came across Tightrope Theatre.
